- Default or medium level Internet security zone
- Default or medium privacy settings
- Enable pop-ups
- Enable JavaScript
If you are experiencing problems with PicturesOnGold.com shopping
cart, it is likely that you have a corrupted cookie.
The easiest way to fix this problem is to clear cookies
from your computer and clear your web browser's temporary
files.
Close all but one browser window and follow the instructions below
for your web browser version to delete and enable cookies.
How to delete cookies
Clearing cache and cookies for Internet Explorer:
- Click Tools located at the top of the web browser and select Internet Options.
- Select the General tab
- In the Temporary Internet Files section Click the Delete Cookies button.
- Click OK.
- Click Delete Files button and check the box Delete All Offline Content. Click OK.
Clearing cache and cookies for Netscape(Mozilla) browser:
- Click Edit at the top of the browser.
- Click Preferences in the drop-down menu.
- On the left side Category tree click the plus sign to the
left of Privacy & Security.
- Under Privacy & Security, click the plus sign to the
left of Cookies.
- In the window that pops up, right-click Manage Stored
Cookies.
- Be sure to uncheck the box near the bottom
of that window that states: Don't allow sites that set removed
cookies to set future cookies.
- Click Remove all cookies.
- Click Close.
- On the left side directory tree, click the plus sign next
to Advanced.
- Under Advanced click Cache.
- Click Clear Cache button on the right window.
- Click OK.
Clearing cache and cookies for Internet Explorer on a Macintosh:
- Click Explorer or Edit at the top of your
screen.
- Click Preferences.
- Under Web Browser Preferences click Advanced.
- Click Empty Now on the right .
- Click OK.
- Under Receiving Files Preferences, click Cookies.
- Click Delete on the right.
- Click OK.
Clearing cache and cookies for AOL:
- Open the AOL account.
- Click Settings on the toolbar (My
AOL for older versions).
- Select Preferences.
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
on the left-hand side, (Older versions will show a WWW
box).
- In the middle of the Internet Options box is a section called
Temporary Internet Files.
- Click Delete Files and check the box Delete
All Offline Content.
- Click OK.
Clearing Cache and Cookies for AOL on a Macintosh:
- Click My AOL at the top of your browser.
- Select Preferences.
- Click the WWW icon on the left hand side.
- On the right hand side, click Empty Cache Now.
- Click Advanced Settings on the right. This
will bring up a new window for Advanced Settings.
- To the left under Receiving, click Cookies.
- Highlight all cookies and press Delete on
your keyboard.
Clearing cache and cookies for Netscape (Mozilla) on Microsoft Windows or Macintosh:
- Open Netscape and select the Edit drop-down
menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Advanced on the left hand side of
the screen and then click Cache. You will see
an option to clear your disk and memory Cache, it is best to
clear both types of Cache.
You may also need to locate the folder on your hard drive named Cookies or Magic Cookies and delete the cookies that are stored there.
How to enable cookies
AOL 9.0
- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Internet [Web] Options
- Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced
browser options.
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 8.0
- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 7.0 with IE 6.x
- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 7.0 with IE 5.5
- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Security tab
- Select the Custom Level tab
- Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click
"Enable"
- Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
- Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings
AOL 6.0
- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Security tab
- Select the Custom Level tab
- Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click
"Enable"
- Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
- Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings
AOL 5.0
- Go to My AOL
- Pick WWW
- Click the Security tab
- Go to Custom Level
- Scroll down to find Cookie
- Click "Enable"
- Click OK
AOL 4.0
- Click on Preferences
- Select on the WWW button
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Select the "Accept all cookies" checkbox
AOL for Windows 3.1
Browser does not give you the ability to turn off cookies
Windows IE 6.x Browser
- Select Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Select Advanced
- Check the box Override automatic cookie handling.
- Check box Always allow session cookies.
- Click OK and close the Internet Options windows.
Windows IE 5.x Browser
- Go to Tools on the menu bar
- Pick Internet Options
- Click the Security tab
- Select the Custom Level tab
- Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click
"Enable"
- Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
- Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings
Windows IE 4.x Browser
- Go to View on the menu bar
- Pick Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- Go down to the Cookies section
- Click "Always Accept Cookies"
- Click OK
Windows IE 3.x Browser
- Go to View on the menu bar
- Pick Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- Go down to the Cookies section
- Click "Warn Before Accept Cookies"
- Click OK
Netscape 7.x
- Click Edit on the Toolbar.
- Click Preferences
- Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the
list to show the subcategories.
- Click Cookies
- Three options are displayed. Click the appropriate choice:
- Disable cookies
- Enable cookies for the originating web site only
- Enable all cookies
- If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set
a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie."
Netscape 6.x

- When receiving cookies: Click "Never Ask"

For MSN Explorer:
- C lick Help & Settings at the top right-hand
corner.
- Click Web Browsing located on the left side
halfway down page.
- A new window should appear with the heading, What do you
want to change about your Web browsing settings?.
- Click MSN Explorer Security Statement.
- After the paragraph headed Security Settings, click View,
Configure Security Settings.
- Select Custom Level.
- Scroll down the list to Cookies.
- Click the circle next to Enable for Allow cookies
that are stored on your computer and Allow
per-session cookies.
- Click OK
